Unlike, the Spa version of Hot Stone Massage where hot stones are laid upon the body, this Hot Stone treatment incorporates the heated pebble shaped basalt stones into the actual massage strokes from the very start. Held in the therapists hands whilst massaging, the hot stones add a warmth to the already relaxing strokes of a Swedish massage and increase the effectiveness of a Deep Tissue massage, used as a tool to work further into the muscle fibres.
