I trained at the London School of Sports Massage and hold a Level 5 Diploma in Soft Tissue Therapy and Sports and Remedial Massage. I studied Medical Acupuncture/ Dry Needling with OMT Training, and am fully certified and insured to include needling/ acupuncture techniques to help remedy musculoskeletal complaints as part of my sessions.
Alongside my treatment work and continuing professional development as a therapist, I am also a professional contemporary dancer. I currently teach and lecture in contemporary dance and contact improvisation at higher education institutions including; London Studio Centre, Rambert School, and London Contemporary Dance School. I also teach both open and private professional dance classes and workshops in the UK and abroad. Between my work as teacher and therapist I enjoy spending my free time moving. I regularly practice contact improvisation, as well as capoeira based acrobatics, climbing, cycling, hiking, and snowboarding.
My various interests and skills continually complement and feed one another. This allows me to draw upon my experience of dance and movement training and the tactile contact skills I have acquired over many years, in order to enhance and optimise my clinical handling, application of soft tissue techniques, and to inform the remedial exercise programmes and further advice I give to clients. I thrive and thoroughly enjoy working with a vast range of people whom often differ greatly in terms of their age, health, lifestyle, body type, abilities, and treatment requirements
