Job Overview:

We are looking for enthusiastic and competent cafe staff members to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving high-quality food and drinks, and maintaining a clean and inviting cafe environment that reflects our commitment to holistic health.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers with a warm smile and take orders for food and drinks, demonstrating knowledge of our menu's healthy options and ingredients.
Prepare a variety of hot and cold beverages, including speciality coffee, smoothies made with fresh fruits, vegetables, and superfood add ons, freshly squeezed juices, homemade lemonade, herbal teas, homemade chai blend, ceremonial cacao/matcha, energising health shots (e.g., ginger, turmeric, etc) and much more.
Prepare vegetarian and vegan sandwiches for lunchtime service utilizing fresh ingredients. This may involve assembling sandwiches with a variety of homemade sauces/spreads or grilled vegetables and focaccia/sourdough bread.
Operate a cash register and process customer payments efficiently.
Maintain a clean and hygienic work area, following all food safety regulations.
Replenish stock and keep the cafe presentable, ensuring a positive and organised environment.
Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment.
Assist with setting up and closing down the cafe following the checklists provided.
