Originally from Germany, Deliah trained as a professional dancer in Munich, New York and later in London to obtain an MA in Choreography.
Her Yoga journey started with learning TM (Transcendental Meditation) many years ago and it continues to help her find little moments of peace and quiet when there’s a long and busy day ahead. While her Asana practice took her through various different styles, her teaching today is strongly influenced by her trainings in Power Yoga, Rocket Yoga and Yin Yoga. Drawing from her background as a dancer and former gymnast she creates strong and creative flows integrating many options to work into arm balances and other inversions. The much slower Yin Yoga practice speaks to her in the way that it really emphasises making Yoga accessible to everyone's individual anatomy and she takes this approach into any of her more dynamic classes as well.
Deliah has trained with The Yoga People, Mona-Lisa Godfrey, Cal Wansbrough, Pete Cherry, Jadranko Miklec, Dieter Junk and Stefanie Erb and continuously looks to deepen her practice under the guidance of London's many inspiring teachers.
